Laura Dodson, CPA is a Seattle area based financial analyst and number cruncher. She loves interpreting data and setting the tone for a successful plan. The plans might be a grant proposal, business plan, growth plan, cost accounting, and the many other ways to describe how to crunch numbers to make organizational magic happen.
All work is completed in house by people who understand the business context of the work being completed. No work is outsourced to contractor for hire websites like Odesk, Elance or Fiver.
She has attended Western Washington University, Pierce College and Bates Technical College. She passed the CPA test the first time around and loves coaching others on how to do that as well. She has written four books on accounting and bookkeeping for QuickBooks. (www.organizedbookkeeping.net) She has worked for small family businesses, mid sized businesses and a Fortune 500 company. She founded Blue Stone Accounting LLC and ran it for five years. BSA was a small CPA firm that prepared accounting reports and taxes. She currently runs Paper Butterfly Forge LLC, an ecom company that sells unique game tokens for table top games. (www.paperbutterflyforge.com)
